It’s that time of year again, Spring Break…. vacations, family, fun, friends. I always enjoy a good visit with my family. The distance between Wisconsin and Texas seems too far at times. I treasure the time we do get to spend together. This past weekend, my parents came in for a visit. We decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and get my patio ready for summer!

I spent the afternoon planting some flowers to add a little more color to the patio. I also planted wild flower seeds – I look forward to seeing what blooms in the weeks to come! While I walked around my backyard deciding where to sprinkle me flower seeds, I discovered that the far side of my fence was lined with my absolute FAVORITE flower…. the Iris!
